Calvin's Hamburger Haven

Found this place using Google reviews and I'm so happy that I did! Some of the best hamburgers you ever find at this little hole in the wall. Took my whole family and my parents and everyone loved it! You can have your burgers regular or Mexican. I had mine Mexican and personally loved it! The service is top notch, super friendly and helpful, it's eating how the menu works and all of your options for those of us who are first timers. The breading on the fried food is excellent, we tried the fried pickles the french fries and the onion rings. This place is a must try if you are looking for good food in the area. The atmosphere might leave a little to be desired, but that is the best description for a hole in the wall anyway!

Let's be honest here, this was the first time at this establishment, and I'm sorry to say I wish I had known sooner about this place. Out of all the burger places I've eaten at in Wichita, this one takes 1st prize. The Double Cheeseburger meal I ordered was melted in your mouth delicious . And I have never been full from just one double cheeseburger before. This thing felt heavy, like 2 lbs heavy or more. And it was very, very delicious, oh, I said that already, lol. Along with my double cheeseburger, I had opted to have the tutor tots instead of fries, and they were perfectly cooked. And the best part of the whole adventure was the very, very kind and speedy service of the staff. The price of the meal was more than perfect compared to other fast food businesses in the city. For my meal, I paid $11.75 with a drink. This, compared to Wendy's or Spangles, was just awesome. I saved a ton. They do have a bathroom, adequate seating, plenty of parking, and a drive thru. It was clean and steady, busy while I was there. I would highly recommend this Hamburger Haven just like the name says to anyone with an appetite for lunch or dinner. (Note to owner) Is there a possibility of an east side location in the future ? I drove from the east side of town to try your burgers, and I was not disappointed. Thank you very much.

Unassuming from the outside, amazing mouth feel and taste. Freshly made, hot, very good, and reasonably priced, burger spot. I got the double bacon cheeseburger that came with grilled onions (so good), mustard, chopped up bacon (life changer vs whole bacon), cheese, and pickles.

If you want a good greasy burger and greasy spoon old fashioned experience come here. Cheeseburger was good, large and filling. Fries, tots and fried mushrooms were decent. Flan dessert was really good. If you're a picky whiner make sure you ask for the grilled onions etc to be left off your burger if you don't want them. It's an experience into the past here with some modern additions. Ask questions about what you're ordering if you're unsure. They were very helpful.
